From the small-town stages of Pearsall, Texas, to the national spotlight, Gabe Garcia has spent his life making music with heart, grit, and undeniable talent. At just 15, Gabe recorded his first two-song demo in Nashville with his brother’s high school friend Touchstone McDonald. A year later, he taught himself guitar on an instrument his brother left behind, joining the “Texas Wranglers” and later forming the “Maverick Creek Cowboys.” Touring South Texas, the band built a loyal following and won First Place at the Annual State Colgate Country Showdown. Balancing a full-time job in San Antonio with trips to Nashville, Gabe caught the attention of major labels and recorded a full album with producer Bart Butler—whose father Bill Butler published George Strait hits like Baby Blue and Love Without End, Amen. In 2008, after the passing of his father, Gabe made the leap—selling his home, quitting his job, and moving to Nashville. Within three months, he earned First Runner-Up on NBC’s Nashville Star out of 65,000 contestants. That success led to management under Erv Woosley (George Strait’s longtime manager), a songwriting deal with Bill Butler Music, and later, a record deal with Average Joe’s Entertainment through John Rich of Big & Rich. Over the years, Gabe has toured extensively, playing across the U.S., Canada, France, and beyond. He’s opened for major country acts, played iconic venues, and built a devoted fan base through his soulful voice and storytelling. Today, he runs his own label, 396 Entertainment, continuing to release music true to his roots. Whether performing in a smoky South Texas bar, a grand festival stage, or an intimate listening room, Gabe brings authenticity and passion to every show. His albums are available on all major streaming platforms.
